Windows Setup Instructions

  1. Download ThrivaSetup.exe to the laptop you want to monitor
  2. Right-click the installer and select "Run as Administrator"
  3. Follow the installation wizard
  4. The service will start automatically at the end
  5. Log into parents.thriva.app to manage the device
⚠️ Important: The Windows service requires administrator privileges to function properly. Do not give kids admin access to their Windows accounts.

Android Setup Instructions

  1. Download thriva.apk to the Android device
  2. Open the APK file (you may need to allow "Install from Unknown Sources")
  3. Grant all requested permissions during setup:
    • Device Admin (required for blocking)
    • Accessibility (for advanced features)
    • Display Over Other Apps (for blocking screen)
    • Usage Access (for screen time tracking)
  4. The app will connect to your Thriva account automatically
  5. Device will appear in parents.thriva.app within 30 seconds
⚠️ Important: Grant all permissions when prompted. The app needs these to function properly. Turn off battery optimization for Thriva to ensure it stays running.
